Eric Benét has been on fire once again, as the veteran R&B singer returned to New York City Sunday night for a performance at the legendary B.B. Kings in Times Square. Benét has been touring heavily this year in support of his 2012 album The One, which was the first release on his own independent label Jordan House.
Sunday night once again proved that EB is still one of R&B’s elite male artists. Taking to the stage in a shiny dark grey tuxedo suit, the Grammy-nominated performer brought the NYC crowd into his world with past hits such as “Love Don’t Love Me” and “Spiritual Thing.” He got sexual with one specific audience member during “Chocolate Legs,” and dueted with his background singer Candice Boyd on his ’99 hit “Spend My Life With You.”
Touching on his latest release he performed the singles “News For You” and “Runnin,” and closed his stirring set with “Sometimes I Cry” and “Georgy Porgy.”
In addition to tearing up the stage, Eric announced that he has recently signed singers Calvin Richardson and Goapele to his Jordan House label. Check out our exclusive photos from the show below!
