Powerhouse vocalist and Atlanta native, Monica, gave a breathtaking performance at the inauguration of Mayor Kasim Reed this week. Marking his second term following a well-executed first three years, there was much to be celebrated in the cold night air of Atlanta.
Choosing to show up in a pair of exceptional white pants with a black side stripe and a fur trimmed jacket to stay warm, Monica posed for a few cameras with the Mayor and her husband. Surely one of the most missed vocalist from R&B this past year, Monica’s rendition of “God Bless America” made us remember why we love her so much.
