Since he re-emerged as JMSN, singer/songwriter/producer Christian Berishaj has been difficult to classify under one, yet alone multiple genres. But with each release he finds a balance which most often has been classified as Alt-Soul or the dreadfully trendy term PBR&B. Whatever the case, JMSN is completely unique, and clearly fits into some realm of ambient soul. Which can clearly been heard on his latest release “The One.”
Lifted from his sophomore album, Pllajë, the melodically captivating song is brought to life by one of his now famous visual pieces. Known for creepy and often gruesome imagery, the video plays out like an eerie underground performance art piece, with plenty of sexual undertones.
