After several delays due to personal issues last year, Chris Brown has announced a new release date for his long-awaited sixth studio album X.
Taking to Twitter to reveal on the news, Breezy said that the follow-up to 2012′s Fortune will arrive on May 5, which fittingly coincides with his 25th birthday.
“X is by far my best album yet…. Setting the date for MAY 5.”
The album has spawned the singles “Fine China,” “Don’t Think They Know” featuring Aaliyah, the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Love More,” and his buzzing latest single “Loyal” featuring Lil Wayne, French Montana, and Too $hort.
He has also collaborated with Kendrick Lamar (“Autumn Leaves”), Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa, and B.o.B., as well as producers Timbaland, Diplo, Polow Da Don, Danja, Pharrell, and Drumma Boy.
