New Music: Katt Rockell – Pushin’

New York based singer/songwriter, Katt Rockell is emerging on the scene and making quite the impression. Born to Gospel singing parents, this young beauty is letting her voice shine as big as her lovely smile.

Interestingly enough, the multi-talented artist has chosen a different route than that of her parents. Signing a deal with BMG Music Publishing, Katt has written and co-written alongside some of the greats – including Wyclef Jean and Rodney Jenkins.

Now putting her pen to use for her own material, Katt jump starts 2014 with the single, “Pushin“. Slated to drop in the spring, her EP Living Free will feature “Pushin” and more soul, hip-hop and pop infused tracks.

Singing, “I got trouble on my mind as I watch the world passing me by, but I swear that I was born to fly,” Katt gives thorough encouragement to everyone to just keep pushing until you get it right.
