Cali based indie singer LIZ caught our attention last year with her incredibly catchy, ’90s inspired single “XTC,” which we featured on our Podcast #11.  The Mad Decent emerging star is prepping for the release of her upcoming 7-track EP ‘Just Like You,’ and she gets us ready with not one, but two of the new tracks.

The first leak, and EP opening track “Y2K” is produced by renowned Norwegian pop artist Lido, and showcases LIZ serenade over a soft Baltimore club / R&B instrumental. LIZ says that the song is “an ode to those who inspire me,” and that a line in the track ultimately inspired her EP’s title.

The second cut “Say You Would” produced by Boston’s C.Z, follows a similar Bmore club meets ’90s R&B vibe, and finds her delivering rap/sung style verses with a sonic softness that she is becoming known for.

Both cuts are highlighted by LIZ’s soft and airy Pop vocal, with ’90s inspired production and melodies, that you just can’t help but enjoy. Just Like You, will be released on February 27 for free download via Mad Decent’s digital imprint, Jeffree’s.

Take a listen to both cuts below!
