Following the release of her two new singles “Rick James” and “Next Time,” Keyshia Cole is coming full force with her new album. Showing fans that there’s no stopping the K-Cole Train any time soon, the vocalist has announced the title to her upcoming album via Twitter.
Catch more after the jump!
Serving as her sixth studio album, Keyshia’s follow-up to 2012’s Woman to Woman will be titled Point of No Return.
When asked by a fan on the famed social media site what she will be titling the album, the “I Should’ve Cheated” songstress responded in true Twitter format “#PointOfNoReturn“. KC has been diligently working in the studio to bring her loyal fans something to look forward to this year. While her lucrative deal with Steve Madden kept her busy in 2013, the singer decided it was time to get back to work in the studio.
Revealing that she has been working with veteran R&B King R.Kelly as well as Scott Storch, there’s really no telling what to expect when the new album drops later this year. Also calling on popularized producer Mike Will Made It, Future, Birdman and Wale, Point of No Return will be filled with an array of sounds. We wonder though, will Keyshia call on any female emcee’s or R&B songstresses to collab with too?
Marking her last album under Interscope, Keyshia stated:
“Now I see why ya’ll miss me so much! I used to spit that sh*t. This is the first album I wrote pretty much by myself since A Different Me, and I freestyled all the ones I sung!”
Talk that talk then, K-Money.
Also telling Fuse that she thinks this is a great album, we’re also excited to see if she’s still spitting that sh*t this time around. Go ‘head KC!
