The sun is shining and it’s almost time for the shorts and sandals to be on standby! That really means that the summer is only right around the corner! With the good news ringing in, even better news dropped today and that’s the line-up for the BET Experience!

Returning to L.A. for the second consecutive year, the concert extravaganza will jump start on June 27 at the Staples Center. The three-day festival hosts a plethora of live music and comedy concerts, tapings of 106 & Park, BET Fan Fest, seminars, Grammy Museum exhibits, food festival, celebrity meet and greets, and much more. Calling on R&B veterans Maxwell, Jill Scott and Marsha Ambrosius to serve as opening day performers, the Experience will have something for all ages available.
Hitting the stage on Saturday will be newcomers August Alsina, Ty Dolla $ign and K. Michelle as well as rappers A$AP Rocky and Rick Ross. Fans can also prepare themselves for a special hip-hop reunion on that day as well.
Closing out the ceremony on Sunday will be Mary J. Blige, heartthrob Trey Songz, powerhouse vocalists Jennifer Hudson and Tamar Braxton, which will lead up to the big show, the BET Awards, which will air live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, June 29.
Exciting, right?! Well, you better get your coins ready if you’re preparing to hit the City of Angels because tickets go on sale Friday, March 14. Interested attendees will be able to purchase either single day or three day packages for the event.
