Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell take it to the big screen with their new collaboration “It’s On Again.” The anticipated song is the lead single from the upcoming soundtrack to The Amazing Spider Man 2.
Skateboard P handles the production along with Hans Zimmer, while Alicia Keys takes the lead and Kendrick offers a hard-edged opening verse over heavy electric guitars.
“I’m very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer,” says Alicia. “This is the next chapter in the Spider-Man legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story—and most importantly—the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There’s a little bit of a Super Hero in all of us.”
The three recently filmed the music video for the anthemic song on Wilshire Boulevard in L.A., it will be available on iTunes tomorrow, Tuesday April 1, while the full soundtrack will arrive April 22.
