Whether you love her music or just love her style, one has to admit that the youngest Knowles is doing her damn thing. Featured in the upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Solange supplies eye-popping shots as well as some good info on what’s going on in her life.
Titling her the “Cool Girl On The Block,” Solange’s feature in the popularized fashion magazine takes time to highlight where she is as an all around artist to date. Dressed in Moschino, Ralph Lauren, and a pretty pricey Chanel dress, the 27-year-old fashionista has always been drawn to pops of color and more interesting pieces.
Discussing things such as her past experiences with music and fashion, short stint as a wife, her 9-year-old son Jules and much more, the Charloette Cowles penned piece sheds much light on what it’s like to be the sibling to standout superstar Beyoncé. When asked about how it feels to follow in her footsteps, the eccentric sibling stated:
“My parents constantly tried to talk me out of being an artist. They had gone through the whole journey with my sister and just wanted me to have a normal teenage life.”
Although Solange didn’t quite follow the exact same steps as Queen B, we’d have to say that she’s done quite well following her own.
