Military man turned soul singer JoBee invites you to sample his sound. Hailing from New Orleans, Joseph “JoBee” McKeel is a singer/songwriter passionate about vibrant vocals, so much so that his forthcoming album is titled Vocal Stimulation. Releasing his first single off the project, “Wanna See You,” JoBee looks to put listeners in the mood to see their special someone. The sexy single, produced by Boogz Beatz, showcases Jo’s falsetto and a melodic nature.
His music, influenced by soul, gospel, jazz and more, emulates the tradition of the classic soul singers, while retaining a sheen that is unmistakeably contemporary.
Prior to launching his music career, McKeel proudly served eight years in the US Army, including a tour in Iraq. Now, having swapped the military for the studio, JoBee is readying to take his music across the world.
