Robin Thicke is going to do what he does best as he continues to attempt to get his wife back! Now given the opportunity to make his plea on a national stage, the R&B crooner is reportedly going to perform a brand new song, which he penned about Paula Patton, live at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
TMZ has obtained a copy of the lyrics to the song entitled “Get Her Back,” which details Thicke’s regretful separation from his wife.
“I should’ve kissed you longer / I should’ve held you stronger / And I’ll wait for forever for you,” he sings.
Other lyrics include: “All I wanna do is make it right” and “I gotta get her, go get her back / I gotta treat her right / I gotta cherish her for life.”
The 2014 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas Sunday on ABC at 8 pm est. The show will also features performances from Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, and John Legend,
Thicke has been trying for months to win back his wife, even dedicating “Lost Without U” to her at his recent shows.
The high school sweethearts announced their split in February after nearly nine years of marriage.
