On Friday night Tyrese Gibson partnered with the non profit group “Afrika Fifty6” to present a benefit concert For Our Girls of Nigeria, to help raise awareness and aid for the victims and families whose lives have been affected by the recent kidnappings.
HipHollywood was on the red carpet to cover the event and spoke with Tyrese.
“When someone sees how much traction and attention something gets like this when you make a statement, naturally other folks are going to have the idea pop up on them,” Tyrese said. “Lets go beyond holding up a sign from the convenience of your house. Lets gets our knees dirty, orchestrate, use your influence that God has given you to try to change the world and make a difference.”
