Elijah Blake Covers “XO” and “Latch” on ‘Sole Sessions’

Singer-songwriter Elijah Blake has had R&B lovers on their toes since the release of his 2012 EP Bijoux 22. With praise ringing in from some of the industry’s top stars, it was only a matter of time before we could experience it for ourselves.

Noted as one of today’s most promising acts, Elijah has us ready to see what he’s bringing for us this year. Stopping by the Creative Recreation x That Grape Juice Sole Sessions set, the singer gave a great rendition of Beyoncé’s “XO” and ballad king Sam Smith’s “Latch.”

Going on to give us a piece of his own material titled “Bout That Life,” Elijah is truly one of the rising stars that we look forward to seeing flourish throughout this year and beyond.
