We can’t get enough of Pharrell these days. After traveling to the UK to perform at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekend‘ festival, the hitmaker returned to Los Angeles, and paid an early visit to Power 106 for an interview with ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood.’
Pharrell spoke about individuality, uniqueness, making “Happy” for the animated movie Despicable Me 2, and why certain songs and artists are great. He tells Big Boy why it’s possible for so many people to be famous all at once.
During a fun, impromptu moment Skateboard P beat-boxed for Big Boy while he rapped the classic Ice-T song “High Rollers,” and later spoke about creating his new classic album G I R L.
