Pharrell Performs on ‘Today’ Show ‘Summer Concert Series’

Sunshine was not there but Mr. Happy didn’t stop the heavy rain falling in NYC to hinder his good vibes.

As the latest artist to perform for the ‘Today’ show ‘Summer Concert Series,’ Pharrell Williams continued his dominance of national television Thursday morning with a performance in Rockefeller Plaza.

Taking to the outdoor stage, the Neptunes hitmaker and his band treated those brave enough to bare the rain, and viewers at home to a lively set of his latest hits, including “Happy” and “Come Get It Bae.” In addition to talking about the success and his new album, Pharrell talked about his obsession with late astronomer Carl Sagan.
