Following his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, where he premiered his new single “Get Her Back,” Robin Thicke has been added to the line-up of performers for the 2014 BET Awards.
Specific details have yet to emerge, but rumor has it, the crooner will be performing another new single off his forthcoming surprise album Paula, which is due in stores July 1.
Thicke will be joining some of biggest names in entertainment on stage, including Pharrell Williams, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Drake, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Lionel Richie, who will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Among other celebrities, Kevin Hart and Kerry Washington will help present awards. Rising singers Adrian Marcel and Gabi Wilson are set to give the world a sneak peek of their talents on the ‘Music Matters’ stage.
Chris Rock will host the show, which airs live on Sunday, June 29 at 8 p.m. ET on BET from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
