Bey has done it multiple times, and now she is bringing the whole family to HBO. The Carters will bring a special show from their “On the Run Tour” to the cable network this fall.
The concert event will air in September, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.
The show will tape September 12 and 13 at Stade de France in Paris, the only international dates of their tour, and will feature the superstars performing more than 40 songs.
“This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO,” said Lombardo. “It’s going to be a night to remember.”
This marks the latest collaboration between the couple and HBO. Beyoncé starred in the 2013 documentary Life Is But a Dream and is currently appearing in “Beyoncé: X10,” a 10-episode series of concert performances. Jay Z debuted his performance art film “Picasso Baby” on the network in August.
The couple will wrap the U.S. leg of their co-headlining stadium tour on August 6 in San Francisco.
