Michael Jackson returns to our screens tonight with the official music video to the song “A Place With No Name” off the posthumous album Xscape. The song, which was originally a remake of America’s “A Horse With No Name,” gets the video treatment from director Samuel Bayer (Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”).
Surprisingly, the visual includes some rare behind-the-scenes and outtake footage shot during production of MJ’s 1991 “In the Closet” video. While scenes of a love struck couple lead the video, Michael is seen dancing up a storm with some of his signature moves and laughing off camera.
The video was premiered via his Twitter account and shown on the Jumbotron in Times Square on Wednesday evening. Check it out below:
