Prior to his show at Irving Plaza in NYC on Monday night, and his unfortunate collapse on stage (due to dehydration), August Alsina pre-taped a new interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1, which aired early Tuesday.
Starting off their chat the once again spoke about his views on his success to date, and how it’s hard to celebrate when you’re constantly working for more. August cleared up the situation that hit many gossip sites last week about his supposed refusal to get on the mic at a club appearance. Hopefully getting the point across to fans that many promoters won’t pay an artist to get on the mic, but still expect them to.
He spoke about getting picked by Usher to be the opening act on his upcoming “The UR Experience” tour, joked about learning to dance for the tour, the rumor he broke a girls cervix, hangin out with Chris Brown, working with Nicki Minaj on the “No Love” video, and much more.
