Introducing Audrey Rose. A R&B newcomer from New Jersey who has been slowly impressing listeners with covers of hit singles such as YG’s “Who Do You Love” and Schoolboy Q’s “Studio.” Working with Power 105.1’s DJ Suss One, the emerging singer/songwriter has been recording her debut project, which is due out later this fall.
Ready to make her official introduction, Audrey has now released the first single off the project, “That Love” featuring a rap verse from Troy Ave. With a fitting NYC feel, the breezy single features a sample of the classic Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five single “The Message.”
Audrey shows off her vocals as she calls out her ex for taking her love and devotion for granted. “You know the real, can’t lie I made you better / Where would you be if I never held you down,” she sings.
