With her debut album Aquarius hitting stores tomorrow! Tinashe returned to NYC for a promo run, and hit up Hot 97 to speak with the Ebro In The Morning crew on Monday.
The buzzing R&B singer talked about the success of her breakthrough single “2 On” and being the first female to have a hit with a DJ Mustard beat, the journey of her career to this point, and working on her debut album for two years. She joked with Ebro, Peter and Laura about her relationship status and having no time to even date anyone. She revealed some “a-list” celebs have tried to holla, and even got her tongue measured when they were discussing a story another website wrote based on a photo she posted on her Instagram page.
Her second single “Pretend” featuring A$AP Rocky is currently climbing the charts, but she revealed that the next single(s) coming from her debut album will be either “How Many Times” featuring Future, or “All Hands on Deck.”
