Lend an ear to Tinashe and her amazing voice!
While the official release of the remix to Nick Jonas‘ catchy new single “Jealous” featuring Tinashe, just made its way to your playlists earlier this week, the duo hasn’t wasted much time getting out to promo it.
Taking to BET’s 106 & Park, Nick J and Tinashe opened up the show with a more than stellar performance of the buzzing record. Engaging the audience with his soulful vocals, Nick amped everyone up as Tinashe bopped her way onto the stage to join him during her verse. Chatting with Keshia Chanté and guest host Ray J, the former boy band member and the “How Many Times” singer discussed just how the collaboration came about.
“It’s an amazing song to begin with, so obviously it was one that I wanted to be a part of, so he just reached out to see if I was down to be on the remix and I was like, ‘Absolutely,’” explained T.
While Tinashe’s debut album Aquarius is in stores now, Nick’s self-titled project will hit shelves on November 10 and sees the former pop star exploring more of a R&B side. “It was a really important thing for me to step into my soul and R&B influences on this record,” he said. “When I was working with my brothers, I didn’t really get to do that as much, but I had the freedom to just go in and create and experiment.”
