The Art Official Age has begun, and Prince brought all of his iconic glory to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. As previously announced the music icon delivered an uninterrupted eight-minute medley, a first in the 40-year history of “SNL,” with his all-female band 3rdEyeGirl and guest vocalist Lianne La Havas.
“Ladies and gentlemen, you are so lucky tonight,” host Chris Rock told the crowd while introducing Prince.
To kick things off, he dueted with La Havas on “Clouds” off of his new solo album Art Official Age. He then segued into “Marz” off his and 3rdEyeGirl’s other new album Plectrumelectrum, and capped things off with Plectrumelectrum‘s “Anotherlove.”
