With her anticipated sophomore album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, hitting stores tomorrow, K. Michelle continues to impress with unique visuals. The R&B songstress channels the great jazz singer Billie Holiday in her new music video for “Something About the Night,” a fan favorite off the album.
A tribute to Billie Holiday, the 6-minute mini movie is directed by K. Michelle’s creative director Child Basquiat and features K in a 1940s jazz club as she battles alcoholism, a booming career and a controlling male counterpart.
The full 6-minute video will premiere Tuesday, December 9 on BET’s 106 & Park to coincide with the release of Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?
