Ohhhh! The-Dream isn’t letting 2014 go without a gift!
Earlier this month the R&B hitmaker paid a visit to Atlanta’s V-103 for a new interview with Big Tigger and he played some new music and spoke about his current label situation. The singer, songwriter, producer previously surprised fans when he announced his departure from Def Jam, and later revealed that he launched his own imprint called Contra Paris under Capitol Records. In July, he released his first project under the label, The Prequel EP, which found him reuniting with his production partner Tricky Stewart.
Now, with a new double album called ‘Crown / Jewel‘ on the way spring 2015, Dream is giving fans a listen to the first song off the project, “Fruition.”
A smooth, seductive slow jam with a ’90s vibe, Dream sings the praises of his lady and promises to love her endlessly.
“It’s so hard to find someone like you / I’ve searched under stars and many a moon / Just to find someone like you,” he croons over the guitar laden track.
