John Legend and Common are having one hell of a week! Fresh off their win at the Golden Globes, the singer and rapper have been nominated for an Oscar at the 87th Academy Awards!
Their powerful song “Glory” from the film Selma scored a nod for Original Song when the nominees were announced on Thursday (Jan. 15).
They will compete against “Everything Is Awesome” from The Lego Movie, “Grateful” from Beyond the Lights, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, and “Lost Stars” from Begin Again.

On Sunday, the pair won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, beating out fellow nominees including Lorde and Lana Del Rey.
The 87th Academy Awards will air live on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
