Los Angeles based DJ duo The L.A. Leakers have kicked off the year with a brand new mixtape entitled “Draft Picks ’15” featuring brand new tracks from many of their favorite up and coming artists.
A mix of Rap, R&B and Pop the project includes two standout cuts from two of our favorite rising acts Candice (under Ne-Yo’s Compound Ent.) and Rayven Justice. Coincidentally enough both tracks include interpolations of classic ’90s R&B hits with current L.A. production.
Candice borrows from Hi-Five’s “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)” for a smooth new jam. While Rayven takes it back with Bobby Brown’s “Don’t Be Cruel” as he acts his girl to “Choose Up.”
