Raheem DeVaughn caught us by surprise with his brilliant remake of Janet Jackson’s “Any Time, Any Place,” earlier this week, but the soulful crooner hasn’t stopped there!
As he preps for the anticipated release of his fifth studio album Love, Sex, Passion (due out Feb. 17), and in advance of Valentine’s weekend, the D.C. native has released two more noteworthy covers.
First, is a soul-stirring cover of Jodeci’s classic single, “My Heart Belongs To You,” and second is a remake of “I’m Going Down” by Rose Royce and popularly covered by Mary J. Blige.
