Rihanna is back on the top of the charts with her single “FourFiveSeconds” (currently #5 on the Hot 100), but she has been keeping a tight lid on her new album. Today, RiRi felt generous and gave her Navy a preview of a brand new song called “Higher,” produced by Kuk Harrell and Marcos Tovar.
“This whisky got me feelin’ pretty, so pardon if I’m impolite / I just really need your ass with me,” sings RiRi over the melancholy beat before belting out the hook.
“Higher, higher than I’ve ever been, babe / Just come over, let’s pour a drink, babe / I hope I ain’t callin’ you too late.”
There’s more new music on the horizon too. In addition to “Towards the Sun,” she has contributed a song called “Dancing in the Dark” to DreamWorks’ animated film Home, in which she also stars.
