Up and coming New York native Jordan Bratton has been building an organic fan base for a couple years, now signed to RCA Records he is set to make sure that you know his name this year.
Following the fan favorite single “Danger” featuring Fabolous, the young singer has returned with the soulful song “Prisoner” featuring Chance the Rapper.
Bratton co-produced the track with Craven J, and highlights his vocals as he croons about a woman who is so enamored with money and fame that she loses herself.
“Not a life she chose, but she followed the gold cold road / What she wanted it couldn’t be sold, she started to loose her way … is this just a prisoner without a cage,” he sings on the smooth track.
Jordan will release his debut EP YOUTH on May 12, and he has been opening for Jazmine Sullivan on “The Reality Show Tour” since March.
