Yesterday we posted Usher’s brief teaser, and wasting no time Rico Love has premiered the anticipated remix to his latest single “Somebody Else.” Calling on his mentor Usher as well as Wiz Khalifa to give the catchy record a bigger boost, the three artists lay down different experiences with a women who they’ve lost, or wish will find happiness elsewhere.
Usher appears to be hoping that his ex-wife Tameka Foster finds someone new for herself, singing: “I really hope that she finds somebody else … She all about the commotion, I swear she got a heart of stone.”
While Wiz calls out Amber Rose, admitting she left an empty hole in his heart. “Thought I had it, all the magic I couldn’t imagine / Then it all went tragic, automatically, I’m the bad one,” he raps. “I was only doing us, gave you everything, a kid, a house, and a wedding ring and now you talkin’ ’bout how you could do better things.”
The new remix precedes the release of Rico Love’s major label debut album Turn The Lights On, which is due out May 11.
