Omarion surprised many when he released his hit ready single “Post To Be” featuring Chris Brown and Jhené Aiko, the record was a perfect radio friendly, catchy smash. But, as it turned out, a single line by Aiko kind of stole the show.
“I might let your boy chauffeur me / But he got to eat the booty like groceries,” sung Jhené in a coy way.
As many laughed, it was also a shockingly bold statement from the singer, who mostly kept raunchy sexual exploits at a minimum in her own music. In an entertaining new interview with MTV’s Rob Markman, Aiko visits a grocery store in NYC and explains how the line came about, and shows that If you’re gonna eat the groceries, first you gotta buy them.
