Verse Simmonds has his sights set on taking it down low with his girl. The singer/songwriter follows up “Situationships” with the bouncy new single “All I Want” featuring Jeremih.
Premiering today on Billboard, both artists seductively sing their provocative plans over an interpolation of “The Cha Cha Slide.”
“When I heard the track, I asked Jeremih to come by the studio that I was working at in L.A. at the time and he pulled up on me and laid his verse on it,” Verse Simmonds tells Billboard. “That’s usually how our sessions go, very random. One of us just calls the other and if we’re ever in the same area we just pull up and get it in!”
Besides working on his own music, Simmonds has been very busy writing for the likes of Chris Brown (“New Flame,” “Drunk Texting”), Fifth Harmony (“Top Down”), Kid Ink (“Hotel”), T.I. (“Private Show”), K. Michelle (“Hard to Do”), amongst others.
His upcoming project Sextape Chronicles 3, is due out this year.
