“Sweet Lady” was the second single released from Tyrese’s eponymous debut album. The single reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 9 on the R&B charts. The song stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a total of twenty five weeks.
The music video shows Tyrese riding a bus singing “Sweet Lady” with his eyes closed fantasizing about another passenger, the video’s leading lady, actress Maia Campbell.
