Tamar Braxton helped kick off the second season of “The Real” on Monday with a special performance. In addition to co-hosting, the R&B diva hit the stage to debut her new song “King.” Sitting atop a piano in a shimmering silver dress, she belted out the ballad off her upcoming album Calling All Lovers.
She decided not to perform her new single “Catfish.” “I couldn’t see myself twerking to #Catfish on THAT show!” she told one fan.
Calling All Lovers drops Oct. 2. “This album is a blessing I thought I would NEVER have. Love and War wasn’t ‘supposed’ to happen,” said Tamar. “I was written off & forgotten about. But for some reason God saw fit. And so I HAVE to look at THIS album as an extension to his blessings.”
In addition to “The Real,” you can catch Tamar on the new season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
