The night after releasing her brand new single “Focus,” Ariana Grande gave a concert on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, CA. The 22-year-old pop star performed the song for the first time, sporting a stitched mouth look for Halloween. During a Q&A held on stage as well, she revealed that Jamie Foxx is the man behind the mystery voice on the hook of the single.
Before wrapping up the Q&A, a person from the audience threw a smartphone at her. “Did someone throw a phone at me?” she asked. “Did someone just throw a phone on stage? That’s so dangerous. What if your screen cracked?”
In addition to “Focus,” Ariana performed a handful of her past hits including “Problem,” “Break Free,” “Love Me Harder” and more.
“Focus” is the first single off her forthcoming third studio album Moonlight, which is due out in 2016. Check out her performance below:
