Whether his album was released at Wal-Mart before its intended release date or not, Chris Brown continues to bring us more of his video story, with the steamy visuals for his Marvin Gaye-sampled single “Back to Sleep.”
Picking up where “Fine By Me” left off, the video begins with Breezy making a call to his girl, insisting that he come over even though it’s late at night. Things get hot and heavy as they get intimate in the shower and bedroom.
The video’s release marks a countdown to Royalty, his seventh album, dedicated to his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, which is due out on Friday, Dec. 18. The set has already spawned the singles “Liquor” and “Zero,” plus buzz-tracks “Fine By Me,” “Wrist” and “Anyway” featuring Tayla Parx.
In anticipation of his album release, Brown performed in Chicago last night as part of his “Royalty Live” concert series, and will headline a show in San Francisco on Dec. 16 and another in L.A. on his release day, Dec. 18.
