Chrisette Michele is celebrating her rekindled romance in the colorful video for her single “Unbreakable,” off the singer’s forthcoming album Milestone.
The Grammy Award winning R&B songstress bounces to the pulsating beat with a troupe of back-up dancers, as she sings about the powerful love that she shares with her fiancé. “You could keep on trying / You can’t break a diamond / Our love’s on fire / Unbreakable love,” she warns anyone trying to get between them on the feel-good chorus.
Chrisette’s forthcoming fifth studio album is executive produced by her former manager-turned-fiancé Doug “Biggs” Ellison. Their new romance sparked “Unbreakable” as well as their eventual engagement.
“I just wrote this song to say to everybody who may have pulled us apart, our love is unbreakable,” she explains. “Through all the thick and thin, we’re back together the way we’re supposed to be.”
Milestone is available now for pre-order on iTunes and drops this Friday. She is set to hit the road on her “Milestone Tour” on July 2 at New Orleans’ House of Blues before making stops in other major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Seattle.
