After the rumors were confirmed, the Lambily can now get their first look at Mariah Carey‘s guest appearance on Empire.
The iconic songstress takes on the role of “mega-superstar” Kitty in a new trailer for the show’s third season. Mariah’s character duets with Jussie Smollett’s Jamal Lyon and helps him “dig deep to overcome personal difficulties and reach a musical breakthrough.”
The brief clip also features cameos from Xzibit and Kid Cudi, who plays Gram, an independent rapper and rival to Hakeem.
Empire’s third season kicks off Sept. 21 on Fox. Mariah is also set to premiere her new E! docu-series “Mariah’s World” on Dec. 4.
