Indie artist Dasha brings real emotion and R&B lovin’ with the music video for her buzzing new single “Loving You,” from her upcoming debut album The Howard Roark Project, due out October 4.
The Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and actress brings a refreshing angle back to R&B that harkens back to a time before auto-tune, and the actual delivery of a song meant more than the production. After amassing over 200K plays of the single on Soundcloud, it is clear Dasha has tapped into a feeling that many have been missing.
“I selected ‘Loving You’ because I felt it was the song that resonated most with me,” she said about releasing it as her single. “I wanted to come out with something that felt classic, timeless and relateable. It has a hard 90s R&B mix with some new sounds and vibe, and that’s what I’m about.”
