Usher had one hell of a busy weekend. After performing at the Global Citizen Festival in NYC’s Central Park early Saturday (Sept. 24) afternoon, the R&B superstar hopped on a jet to fly out to Las Vegas and close out the second night of the iHeartRadio Festival.
Getting the awaiting crowd warmed up, the singer hit the stage with his new pop single “Crash,” off his recently released eighth studio album Hard II Love. Transitioning into the heavy hitting turn-up “Missin U” and the Lil Jon-assisted “Bump,” Usher and his backup dancers showed the Vegas audience how they do it in ATL.
After running through “Rivals,” the Hands of Stone star slowed it down with “Lovers and Friends” and surprised the crowd by bringing out Ludacris to join him for the sultry hit, and then they turned the energy back up with “Yeah.”
“We ain’t done though,” said Usher before sliding into the slinky bounce of “No Limit,” where he brought his dance team back out to close out the set.
