Street Team get ready, it’s almost time!
Sevyn Streeter has announced the release date for her much-anticipated debut album, Girl Disrupted. In a fun, tactical move the long overdue project is slated to arrive on the 7-filled date of Jan. 27, 2017.
The R&B songstress confirmed the news with a series of tweets on Tuesday (Nov. 29).
The album will arrive in the midst of her “Girl Disrupted Tour,” which kicks off Jan. 12 in St. Louis and wraps Feb. 12 in Los Angeles.
Over the past few months, Sevyn has given fans a taste of the album with the Gucci Mane-assisted “Prolly,” “My Love for You,” and “D4L,” and more new music is on the way. On Friday, Sevyn is scheduled to drop her latest single from the album, “Before I Do.”
“We should be together / Want to let go, but I don’t really know / I heard you got a girlfriend / Trying to go to another level with you,” she sings in the teaser.
