After the release of “Havoc” in May, rising Brooklyn based artist Adrian Daniel continues his momentum with the new song “This City.”
The singer/songwriter premiered the seductive record Wednesday night (June 28) on Ebro’s Beats1 show. Working with producers Jack Dine and Ian Bakerman, Daniel crafts another late night soundscape with the inspiration of embracing and then letting go of a passionate love while living in New York City.
“Baptized in the beauty of you / Capsized in your swimming pools / Realize that I’m just a tool / Can’t hold on to you,” he sings.
Adrian’s moody narrative exposes the vulnerabilities of letting a relationship control you, while balancing the ebbs and flows of a turbulent and fast paced city life.
Following 2016’s ‘Disillusions’ EP, and his debut at SXSW earlier this spring, Adrian Daniel is off and running for 2017.
