Rotimi can be seen Sunday nights in the new season of STARZ hit drama, ‘Power,’ but that isn’t keeping him from releasing new music for his fans. Today (July 27), the actor/singer has announced the release of his new summer EP, Jeep Music Vol. 1, dropping August 4 via G-Unit Records/EMPIRE.
To celebrate the forthcoming project, Rotimi has released the EP’s new single, “Want More” feat. Dancehall star Kranium. The new track is the embodiment of summer vibes with its Afrobeat/Reggae vibe.
Jeep Music Vol. 1 will feature production from James “Keyz” Foye III (Bryson Tiller, Diddy, K. Michelle) as well as additional guest appearances by 50 Cent and T.I. on the single “Nobody.” As a whole, the project details the ups and down of love, with a homage to the vehicle driven by his ex.
Fans can experience live performances of music from Jeep Music Vol. 1 as Rotimi joins August Alsina on his “Don’t Matter Tour.” The 24-city tour kicks off today in San Antonio, TX and will be stopping in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta and more.
