Mariah Carey will be honored at VH1’s “Hip Hop Honors: The ’90s Game Changers,” celebrating her groundbreaking hip-hop collaborations, including “Fantasy (Remix)” with Ol’ Dirty Bastard, “Honey (Bad Boy Remix)” with The Lox and Ma$e, and “Heartbreaker” with JAY-Z.
Hosted by actress Regina Hall, the show will feature a performance from former honoree Missy Elliott. Comedian/actor Martin Lawrence will also be honored at this year’s show for his work in stand-up, movies, and television.

The ’90s-style block party will take place on Sept. 17 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and premiere on Sept. 18 at 9 p.m. “Game Changers” is also set to recognize the victims of the hurricanes that have devastated the country.
