The passion of Jacob Banks continues as he fights for clarity on his latest single, “Unknown (To You).” The British soul crooner has delivered an outstanding personal relationship reflection once again, following his EP The Boy Who Cried Freedom.
Over heart-wrenching keys and violins, the singer-songwriter belts out to an unknown ex asking her to give him some closure.
“Look at all this heartache, what is left? / Forgetting how it started, this is how it ends (oh no),” he sings. “I know I’ve done some wrong, I’ll pay for it / But it’s your turn to talk, for once I’m listening.”
Next month, Banks will kick off his “Into the Wild World Tour” on Oct. 12 in Amsterdam. The revered live performer will hit 28 cities between Europe, the U.K., and North America, before closing the tour December 13 in Birmingham, UK.
