To the delight of fans everywhere, Luke James returned this past August with the incredibly seductive and soulful “Drip.” The song is the first official single off his forthcoming sophomore album Joy.
Luke recently linked up with Genius for the latest episode of their video series “Verified” and broke down the track, explaining how his creative team helped him come up with the song.
“It started off with my collaborators,” he explained. “My creative team, we were just sitting there having a conversation and Sir Dillon produced the music and he was just playing a guitar riff and some chords. Right now I just really wanna celebrate women.”
