As he previously teased, Verse Simmonds has debuted his brand new song “Murder Charge” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
The hitmakers connect over the Trap-n-B production by Honorable C-Note, which finds them boastfully singing about their wealth and success with the ladies. “I walk around with a check on my neck / I took your bitch and you can’t get her back,” sings Verse.
During our recent interview with Simmonds at the 2017 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards the singer/songwriter shared some details about his forthcoming project, which he claims tops his underrated debut album, To All The Girls. “I’m working on one right now, it’s going to be later on this year. I’m excited about it, because I know that I beat the last one,” he says. “That’s always what I’m aiming for, to outshine myself.”
Verse’s new project Diamonds is due out November 10.
