Can we get a ‘little more’ summer?
Maurice Moore reminisces on a summery fling in the feel-good music video for his latest single “Little More.”
Ahead of releasing his debut project, The Amber Room on Nov. 17, the Canadian R&B singer/songwriter recalls a past relationship in the colorful visuals. Spiced in with memories of their romance, Moore channels his frustrations to his girl, who hasn’t acknowledged his romantic gestures.
“All I need, is a tease and a kiss or three baby / All I need, a thank you or two is enough for me / All I need, is a little more than you’re giving me,” he sings.
Previously speaking about the song Maurice said: “I was going through a weird place in my relationship. I was happy, but I was also frustrated. I felt like a lot of the things I was doing weren’t being recognized. I was underappreciated, because my girl at the time didn’t understand my lifestyle. She didn’t see the little things. Little More tells her to pay attention a little more. It’s exactly what I was going through.”
Sharing his concept for the video, Moore told HighSnobiety: “I’m telling a genuine story in this song and I really wanted the visuals to reflect that. Shot in Arizona with Matt Johnson (cinematographer), Angela Estelle (director), and co-directed by myself, I feel like we accomplished our goal… I couldn’t be more excited to help my audience experience those summer memories all over again.”
Look out for The Amber Room to arrive on November 17.
